We recently completed a major renovation on our property, as with any renovation you discover additional problems as you go, all were overcome with minimal fuss and when necessary reduced additional cost. Minor changes to the original design were accommodated with full awareness of any additional cost. We were very impressed with Peter Lewin and his team. Our project was a challenge, the house was old and run down and the site provided limited access for heavy machinery so it was always going to be difficult. Peter only found solutions to the problems, he restored the front part of our house back to its former glory and put a high quality extension on the back of the house. The renovation included an ensuite, walk in robe, bathroom, kitchen, euro laundry, living area,deck and study. I was dreading a significant renovation- arguments with the builder, the variation game, issues over quality, delays etc. It is hard to find anyone who has a good experience. We did a major reno of a Californian Bungalow home in Richmond- changed second bedroom into WIR and new ensuite, large open plan with new kitchen and new upstairs with 2 bedrooms and family bathroom. Peter was absolutely brilliant the whole way though, great commutation, flexible and has no problems helping with all the extra things that often builders will ignore and say "not my job." Despite many hurdles with permits, COVID, building supplies and variations he managed to finish on time and mostly as per quoted price. We also valued Peter's advice on design issues because our build comprised both period and modern designs. Peter's substantial experience as a builder was also invaluable.
